We have seen them all over printrest, at aesthetic weddings and parties: PRINTED PAPER TREAT BAGS. Today, I am going to teach you how to make them and let me just say, you are going top be surprised how easy and cost efficient these bags are to make.
Let's start with the supplies you will be needing:
Once you gathered your supplies, it is time to design your treat bags with the message you want to be printed on the bags. I use Keynote, the PowerPoint version for MacBook, but feel free to use any software you want such as photoshop. Keeping the guidelines in mind I am typing my message and editing it how I like, deleting the template when I am done so I when I print, the lines won't be present. Then I am going to save my image onto my computer.
Next, I am going to bring a couple copies of my paper bags design on plain printer paper, this is going to become our template to center our paper treat bags later. This is also the time to see which way your printer prints. For instance when I print an image that is on the bottom half of the page, my printer prints it on the top half of the page. This information is important to know for when we reload our template later with our paper treat bags attached.
Now that we have our template, place your blank paper treat bag on top of the printed image on the printer paper, using your masking tape cut a piece long enough to cover the bottom length of the back. Tape the bottom edge of the bag and fold the rest of the tape to the back. Load your template with the paper bag attached into the printer, the way your printer prints, for me, I load mine bag side on the top.
Remove your printed bag from the template and reuse the tape and steps above to print more bags. That is how simple it is to make printed bags! I know so easy!
If you are a visual learner, there is a full video over on my Youtube Channel: Serenity G. Patrick. Let me know if you make your own versions of this craft on my socials!
